The PoPBoardof Servant Leaders (BoSL) invites everyone
to attend an upcoming Steward Dialogue Session to learn and
discuss more about the four bold and exciting major ministry
initiatives that God has recently placed before us to help set
our community Ablaze! with His Gospel of Love.
Ken Watkinson, our Ministry Administrator, will briefly
present the latest updates on the four new ministry initiatives
that have been introduced to us in recent weeks in the
Communicator and other forums. Then we'llhavean
opportunity for questions and open discussion as we all seek
to discern and be part of God'splanstospread His love and
tend His sheep through PoP.
God has gathered each one of us to PoP to bless us
individually and to be a blessing to many others. We ask
everyone to please pray daily that God will clearly reveal His
plans for PoP, that we all will clearly discern and purpose to
help fulfill His plans, thanking God fervently for the amazing
pastors and other ministry leaders He has brought us herein
this time to lead us.

We seek your continued prayer as God moves us
forward in this process of extendinga Divine Call
to a Minister to Students.
LEARNING TO HEAR GOD '
S
VOICE
While many people looked right into
the eyes of Jesus, listened to His voice
and recognized that this was the Son
of God, others saw Him and heard
Him, but did not recognize Him. God
is constantly signaling each one of
us, but one needs to develop the
spiritual ability to see and hear Him.
Just imagine what that could mean
to each of us as individuals, to all of
us as a community of faith!
Over the next several months,
stretching into the early weeks of
January, 2008, the Prince of Peace
family will be learning touse new
spiritual skills in listening for God's
voice as He leads us to understand
His way, and the specific direction He
has set for us. We'recalling it:

While there have been a number of articles about the Minister
to Students position, the"Call of Accommodation"is anew
concept for PoP. It is a covenant and partnership in ministry
fora pastor of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LC-
MS), who is engaged in a specialized area of ministry.
This CallofAccommodation will allow Chaplain Glen Krans
(amemberofPoPanda retired LC-MS Navy Chaplain) to
serve as a rostered member of the clergy of the LC-MS ina
specialized ministry at Reagan Nat'lAirport. PoP will seek
ways to be in partnership with Chaplain Kransinhis ministry,
but would not be required to provide monetary support. The
most important support we can give to Chaplain Kransisour
prayer support and our encouragement. We are very excited
about the opportunity to support Chaplain Kransinhisvery
important and unique ministry serving the people who move
in and out of our nation'scapital. Next week the
will share biographical information of Chaplain
